Jessie’s styling career began in 2004. She attended the Toni & Guy Basic Academy in Colorado Springs and upon completing her education, she went on to work as a color specialist at Toni & Guy Salon’s in Colorado Springs and Denver. Four years at Toni & Guy and their advanced education, gave her solid foundation in haircolor, where she learned a new cut and color collection every year that consisted of cutting edge, modern, fresh techniques. In 2008, Jessie moved to New York City, where she took fashion and business courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology and a color theory painting course at the School of Visual Arts. In New York, she worked at the Tigi Advanced Academy as an apprentice under the Tigi / Toni & Guy National Artistic Team, fine tuning her cutting skills and continuing her color education. Her experience in New York gave her invaluable life lessons. Back in Denver at Scarlet, Jessie believes in healthy hair and to achieve that, a healthy lifestyle is encouraged. She focuses on using hair products with top quality ingredients that only benefit the hair, body, environment, and combat the climate of Colorado. She is a versatile stylist and color specialist with experience in all types of hair. She is well known for her freestyle color placement, balyage, and ombre techniques. As an avid follower of fashion, art design and photography blogs, staying informed and up to date with top trends and styles is a priority. Jessie has a fashion forward focus with a free spirit and loves making people feel great about themselves!
